
Financial Literacy

This activity is designed to provide youth that enroll in our Stay-Fit program with the financial literacy skills they need to understand how to manage money when they become adults. Students will learn things such as: balancing a checkbook, the importance of saving, creating a budget, the importance of good credit and how you get it, etc. This activity will be conducted by the Executive Director and other community volunteers. This activity will be conducted once per week throughout the year. This activity will be conducted in Cleveland and Macedonia OH. This activity furthers our exempt purpose in that it shows youth how to finically live within their means as they grow into adulthood. Twenty (20%) percent of our time will be spent conducting this activity.

Wrap-Around Resource
​​This activity is designed to provide the youth that enroll in our Stay-Fit program with additional assistance they may need to grow and develop into productive young adults. Services offered will include: nutrition classes, personal character building, Dress for Success seminars, educational tutoring and school supply giveaways. This activity will be conducted by the Executive Director and other community volunteers. This activity will be conducted twice per week throughout the year. This activity will be conducted in Cleveland and Macedonia, OH. This activity furthers our exempt purpose in that it addresses additional issues that youth face in their childhood as they grow up that affect their mental, educational, emotional and social development.
PROJECTS

Stay-Fit Exercise Program

​​This activity is designed to provide youth ages 5 to 18 years of age with exercise training and basketball training as a summer camp and after school activity to keep kids safe in their neighborhoods while giving them something constructive to do. Youth will also participate in a strict exercise regimen that will help them become physically fit and lose weight or gain endurance and strength. This activity will be conducted by the President, the Vice President and other volunteers and/or certified professionals in physical fitness. This activity will be conducted three days per week for at least six months out of the year. This activity will be conducted in Cleveland and Macedonia, OH. This activity furthers our exempt purpose in that it will help bring a solution to the obesity problem among youth of this age range so that they may live healthier lives.
